Before Your Kickstart Call
Let's get your SWIFT doc ready
before we meet.
20 minutes of prep here means your full programme is drafted — signature offer, lead magnet, webinar script, and more — before we even get on our first call together. All you need is your phone.
What you're preparing
🎙️
5 voice notes
2–3 min each, from your phone
📸
Testimonial images
Screenshots or photos that show your results
📝
10 past posts
Screenshots from any platform you post on
📋
Quick form
Your offer details — 5 min to fill
Record each one on your phone's voice memo app and send them to John via Google Drive folder. Speak freely — there's no wrong answer, just talk like you're telling a friend. Aim for 2–3 minutes each.
Voice Note 1 — Your Teaching Style
"Who do you serve — children, teens under 18 or parents? What do you do differently as a tutor, educator or coach? What's the real change you help them make, beyond the session itself? What would a more sustainable business make possible for your own family?"
Used to build your Signature Programme — the name, the acronym, and the transformation promise that makes parents choose you.
Voice Note 2 — Your Story
"How did you start tutoring? What drove you into it, what made you decide to build something bigger, and what's the moment you knew this was the right path?"
Used to write your Lead Magnet backstory — the page parents read before they decide they trust you.
Voice Note 3 — Best Student Transformation
"Tell me about the student you're most proud of. Where were they when they started — mindset, marks, confidence — what happened during your time together, and where did they end up? Give me the real numbers."
Used to write your Lead Magnet client story — the before-and-after proof that makes parents say "that could be my child."
Voice Note 4 — A Typical Lesson
"Walk me through what a lesson with you actually looks like, start to finish. What makes it feel different from just going through a textbook? What do students or parents notice?"
Used to build the module breakdown inside your Signature Programme — the part that shows parents exactly what their child is getting.
Voice Note 5 — Your Offer Right Now
"Describe what you're currently offering and what you're planning to offer next. If you're running or planning a workshop, give me all the details — topic, who it's for, rough price, how many students, and how you want people to sign up."
Used to write your Teach to Pitch webinar script and to populate your Lead Collection Form with the right offer options.
Recording tips
- Find a quiet spot — no need for a professional setup, just no background noise
- Don't script it. The more natural you sound, the more authentic your content will be
- If you go off-track, just keep going — raw is better than polished here
- Send the notes to John via Google Drive folder as you go, you don't need to do all 5 at once
Pull as many of these as you have — screenshots work perfectly. Send them to John via Google Drive folder. Don't worry if you don't have all types; whatever you have is what we start with.
💬
Parent WhatsApp messages
Thank-you messages, progress updates, anything positive a parent has sent you
📊
Exam results or mark sheets
Before-and-after scores, or just the after if that's what you have. Blur the name if needed.
⭐
Google or platform reviews
Screenshots from Google, Carousell, any directory you're listed on
📱
Social media comments
Comments on your posts, DMs from parents, reactions to content you've shared
These are used to build your Content Style guide — the document that trains AI to write in your voice, not a generic tutor voice. Without real posts, AI defaults to sounding like everyone else.
10
Send 10 screenshots of posts you've written — any platform, any format. Pick ones you felt good about when you posted them, not necessarily the ones that performed best. Your authentic voice matters more than reach here.
Facebook posts
IG captions
WhatsApp group messages
Carousell listings
Any written update to parents
If you don't have 10 yet
- Send whatever you have — even 5 is a start
- If you've been writing messages to parents in WhatsApp, screenshots of those count
- If you have zero, that's okay — we'll build your Content Style from scratch on the call
The last piece — your offer details. This is the only section that needs typing rather than voice. Takes about 5 minutes.
