You Can Only Give What You Have

Your energy, clarity, and presence are not extras. They are the product. Before the strategy β€” regulate. Before the call β€” breathe. Before the week β€” see it clearly.

Visualisation
1

See It Before You Live It

Before the hard conversation. Before the scary post. Before any moment that asks something of you β€” pause and see it first. Close your eyes. Picture yourself on the other side of this. Not perfect. Not polished. Just you β€” having done it. Having shown up. Having moved through what felt impossible. That image is a message to your nervous system: you can do this. You've already been there. Visualisation isn't wishful thinking. It's rehearsal. And your brain doesn't know the difference.

2

How to Use It

Five minutes is enough. Sit upright. Close your eyes. Breathe slowly and picture yourself after β€” not during β€” the moment you're preparing for. Notice how your body feels on the other side. Calm. Capable. Proud. Hold that image for 60 seconds. Then open your eyes and begin. Use it before webinars, difficult parent conversations, any moment where fear shows up before courage does.

3

Your Visualisation Prompt

Before your next webinar or difficult conversation β€” take 5 minutes. Close your eyes. See yourself having done it. What does the other side look like? Write it down: "On the other side, I feel ___." Then begin.
Daily Visualisation Practice
1

The Morning Statement

Every morning, before the day begins, complete these sentences slowly. Breathe. Feel each one. The structure is simple: I … and it feels like … Here are examples to anchor you: "I have the best students and it feels like I am exactly where I am supposed to be β€” teaching people who are ready, who show up, who grow right in front of me." "I have all my classes filled and it feels like peace. Not hustle. Not chasing. Just a full, calm, sustainable business that works because I built it with intention." "I have appreciative parents and it feels like my work matters β€” like every lesson, every care I put in is seen, valued, and returned with trust."

2

Build Your Statement Practice

Write 5–7 statements covering what matters most β€” income, energy, family, students, community. Read them aloud, slowly, before checking your phone each morning. Don't rush. Breathe between each one. This is not positive thinking. It is priming. You are deciding β€” in advance β€” who you already are. Add a new statement each month as your vision expands.

3

Write Yours Now

Write your 5 "I … and it feels like …" statements right now. Cover: your students. Your income. Your energy. Your family. Your community. Then read them aloud tonight and again tomorrow morning before you check your phone.
Box Breathing
1

4 Counts. 4 Sides. Everything Changes.

Inhale for 4 counts. Hold for 4. Exhale for 4. Hold for 4. Do it twice before you begin. This is how you walk into a coaching call without carrying the weight of the last three hours. How you show up for a parent fully β€” not frazzled, not rushed, not performing. When you are regulated, the people around you can regulate too. Box breathing is leadership from the inside out. Two minutes. Every time. It changes everything in the room.

2

The Practice

Sit upright. Breathe in through your nose for 4 slow counts. Hold for 4. Exhale through your mouth for 4. Hold for 4. That is one round. Do two rounds minimum before a webinar, a coaching call, a difficult conversation, or any moment where you need to arrive fully. You can also teach this to your students β€” a regulated classroom always starts with a regulated teacher.

3

Try It Right Now

Do two rounds of box breathing right now β€” before you read anything else. In for 4. Hold for 4. Out for 4. Hold for 4. Then decide: before which recurring moment in your week will you make this a non-negotiable?
Exercise
1

This Is About Who You Get to Be

This is not about how you look. This is about who you get to be. Movement is the one thing that generates energy instead of spending it. When you're running on empty and you rest more β€” you stay empty. When you move, something shifts. Clarity returns. Mood lifts. You walk back into your day as someone who has something to give. You don't need to train like an athlete. You need to move enough that your family, your clients, and your community get the best version of you.

2

The Minimum That Changes Everything

20–30 minutes, three to five times a week. It doesn't have to be a gym. A brisk walk qualifies. The standard: can you sustain a light conversation while moving? If yes, it counts. The run doesn't have to be fast. The walk doesn't have to be long. It just has to happen. And once you start tracking the difference it makes β€” in your mood, your clarity, your patience with students β€” the motivation becomes the data itself.

3

Your Movement This Week

Open your calendar right now. Choose 3 days this week and block 30 minutes each. Label it "Energy" β€” not "exercise." Start with what you'll actually do. After each session, write one word for how you feel. Let the pattern motivate you.

You can't pour from an empty cup β€” and your students, your family, and your business are asking you to pour every single day.

Visualize the person you're becoming. Breathe before you begin. Move enough to stay full.

These aren't indulgences. They are the infrastructure that makes everything else possible. Take care of the person doing the work β€” and watch the work take care of itself.
